Incredible story of how the first Apollo Guidance Computer was almost lost to history. The core rope memory modules to the AGC for AS 202, or the first Apollo test flight, were mysteriously scrapped, rather than being sent to the Smithsonian. Now a computer engineer is seeking to unravel the program, which was thought to have been lost.
